Shared Taster Lunch

MY REFLECTION

This picture is of a group of students from E.P.S that are eating food from our Year 6 shared lunch.

I had lots of nice comments from all kinds of people from Year 6 that my fudge was great,fantastic and nice. My favourite food from the shared lunch was the long spring rolls,the big samosas and last of all the dumplings. We did this to tolerate other peoples cultures for World Peace Day.

This is my veiwpoint gallery. I was learning to take photos from different angles. I found it easy to take eye view photos and it harder to take snail's view because sometimes I was too close. I am proud of my possum view.

I worked with Kyle I think we did well together.

I need to work on sub headings, slogan and imperatives.

MY REFLECTION

We have being riding the bikes from bike skills and learning how to be safe on a bike. I thought scooting was easy because I ride my bike to school every day. I liked this activity because I like riding bikes. In this photo I'm practising riding in a straight line.

I have been learning to compare fractions. I have also just learnt to find some equivalent fractions. I know that 1/4 is the same as 3/12. So I know that 1/4 is less than 9/12. I would like to continue learning about equivalent fractions.

I was learning to use different painting skills to paint a view of Rangitoto. I used sponge, stipple, drag and card print. I also did a stencil print. I found them all quite easy to do. Next time I would like to try tonal modelling and maybe different colours.

My Reflection

I was learning to summarise a Kiwi Kids News item. I had to choose a news item, read it and then write it in my own words just choosing the important parts. I find summarising quite straight forward but I needed help with using Narrable for the first time.

       I liked this part of camp because my group got the best waves. I found body boarding easy and fun. At camp I learnt to manage myself better.
